Calendar is the Crystal version of ER5's 'Agenda'. Its the electronic diary of Crystal and therefore probably on of the most important apps. This will syncronise with you desktop PIM swapping your appointments and tasks.

This is the initial view when you first open the applications. The new view is apparent. In this view you see a view of the month and then of the right you get a listing for the highlighted day.

Inputting an event is easy and most of the complex option are put in the other tabs (options include alarms with various settings, repeats, and more). Each event has a start, and end time and a duration can be specified (or is automatically workd out).

Calendar supports mutliple files so you can have different files for different categories if you wish. Many people like have a business and personal file. Files can also be merged in so you can combine one or more files together.

Here we see the opening view again, but with some event added. The top two are normal 'day appointments', the third is an anniversay event (for bithdays and the like), the forth if a todo item, and the last is a timed appointment for a specific day.

There are several view as can be seen from this dialog box. The one above is the Month View.

Here we see more of the views, thus a complete listing of views is Month, Week, Day, To-do Lists, Week Planner, Year Planner and Anniversaries.

This is the Weekview which is almost identical to that of ER5 week view. Not surprising really as it would be hard to improve upon!

This is the day view. The general events for the day ar elisted at the top (in the 6am slot) while the timed events are put in the appriate place. Notice how the fatter left hand toolbar is used because horizontal space is less of a premium in this view.

This is the To-do list view. Is fairly obvious but todo's can be sorted by priority, date due etc. You can also have multiple to-do lists.

This is a new view for ER6 the weekplanner view is like the month view of ER5, but for one weekonly. It allows at a glance to see free time slots.

This is the Anniversary Views. Hopefully this will make sure you dont forget those all important birthdays and anniversarys, but if you really need to be rminded you can set an alarm!

The year planner enables you to quickly see what free days you have.

Entries can be set to be public or private or not to be synhronised. Make sure only you known when your hair follicle treatment starts..

Under the tools menu you can use find, set date and time, delet entries (which can be used to remove past events from your file - preventing the file from getting to big). You can also recieve an appointment over IR.

By pressing tab (I think its tab anyway) you can bring up this calendar to quickly jump to the date you want.

Don't forget to set that alarm for your mother-in-laws birthday!
