Updated: PowerData to version 3.0
|
Epocware have updated their excellent database program Power Data 3.0. Updates include support for colour filters (colour record with defined conditions). Lookup fields are now supported as are forumula fields. A new totals report has been added and there have been several small bug fixes.
Updates:
- Color filters: color records that answer predefined conditions.
- Lookup fields: predefine a set of values for a field, then just select from this set.
- Formula fields: e.g. Price_with_VAT = Price * 1.16 or Price_USD = Price_EUR * 0.88.
- Total report: contains all your records and the totals of each column in the last record.
- Arbitrary field names: all characters are allowed now.
- Small bug fixes.

New: NeuVoice Dialer - voice dialing for the 9210!

NeuVoice have released their much anticipated NeuVoice product for the Nokia 9210. The program delivers the power of the NeuVoice speech engine, enabling hands free dialling and application launching, in real world environments such as the car, the street or a busy airport. The program costs $26.
The NeuVoice application works with the standard contacts database enabling a user to associate a voice tag with an individual contact. By simply saying the name of a contact the associated details are displayed. With the contact's details displayed the user then has a choice: just view the contact information or again by using a simple voice command choose whether to dial the mobile, work or home number of the contact.
Alternatively, enabling the fast action feature immediately calls the preferred number of the contact. NeuVoice dialler delivers more than just the ability to voice dial a contact. Using predefined voice commands, you can launch applications using contact information, for example. saying "text" launches the SMS editor with the contacts mobile number completed or "e-mail" opens a new message with the correct email address completed.

New: Biorhythms Software for the 9210
|
Michal Jerz the webmaster of My-Communicator has released Biorythms Software for the Nokia 9210. The software is written in OPL (so it needs to OPL runtime). Biorythms (supposedly!)calculate and show your bio cycles: physical, emotional and intellectual. These are meant to telll you how you will 'feel' in he next few days.
