What is the button on the front of the Psion 7 for? | ||||
| Answer: | On the front of the Psion 7 and netBook there is a small balck button (visible in the picture below at the bottom right of the ketboard. Psion calls this the 'notify' button. This button is used to silence an alarm. When an alarm sounds pressing this button will silence the alarm for 5 minutes (a subsequent press will silence it for another 5 minutes - i.e. 10 minutes - thi can be repated upto 12 times until the alarm is silenced for one hour. This is useful because you can delay an alarm without actually opening the machine. This button serves no other purpose and can not be used in conjunction with voice notes. |
