The Motorola Quartz Device has recently been announced.
Information known about this machine is outlined below:
This was part of Psion and Motorola join venture. However since
news of Psion and Motorolas divorce (see news) this device may be
produced by Psion or Motorola soley although it seems Motorola is
more interested in Pearl. (Update: will now not be produced)
The machine is named the Accompli 003. This are its specifications:
- will be a quarter-VGA device with 256 colours.
- ARM-based processor clocked at 150MHz
- 48MB of memory as standard
- support for multi media card (MMC)
- support for Bluetooth for connectivity
- MP3 audio and MPEG-4 video standards
- messageing updates of ER6.1
