Data Plus from 2K for Nokia 9200 Beta Available

Data Plus provides enhanced functionality embedded in an easy to use user interface. You store all different tables, which you would like to handle in one place.

Using Database management systems on mobile devices with small screens it is essential to have an excellent functionality to define the different view. Data Plus is using a special view manager, which allows to define nearly everything and makes it extremely simple for the user to sort, view and search for entries.



Card and List view are also individually configurable as filter and sort function. You can define customised views to have fast access to the information you need.
The comfortable search functionality allows an intuitive search process in all or selected fields, as well as search for exact string or Substring

"At the moment Data Plus is released in a Beta Version free for customer use,", Michal Herstus, CEO of 2K development, pointed out, " because we want to give the users a possibility to start working with our DBMS earlier than we release it , which will happen End of January."

The final release of Data Plus, including Data Plus Desktop for databases management on PC and synchronisation, will be in English and German at around 40-50 Euro.

Using the Nokia Communicator on the move it is very easy to enter any kind of data, but if your device is lost or stolen you can open up your sensitive data like credit card numbers, banking and other critical personal information. Currently there is no really secure application on the device which protects your secret information encrypted and password protected in a protected area.

The solution is Secure Box for Nokia 9210/9290. This application allows to use an easy way to enter critical information in an encrypted and password protected database. For time saving and easier handling of the software the most common categories are predefined including the mainly used fields.

Developement News: Mobile Integrator for 9200

    Pocket Folio and SmallBase for the 9210 Updated

    Kylom have released an updated beta of Pocket Folio. Imports of quites and echange rates is now operational with many other features. SmallBase is updated to version 2.32 which fixes a couple of bugs and adds time limiting into the software.

    Ximplify myS&L now available for 9200

    The second program under the Ximplify - 'simplify your life' brand is now available. Ximplify myS&L (my savings and loan) is a program desinged to help in financial calculations. The calculation include calculations on repayments of different loan types and calculations for savings targets.

    Although these calculation can be done manually, this is often time consuming. This program gives you all the calculations you need is an easy to use interface.

    Epocware update Power Data for 9200 to 1.20

    Epocware, a leading 9210 software developer has released an update to Power Data their database application for the 9200 Series. New features include saving of filters, more powerful import options, the ability to show and hide fields and full clipboard support.

    Full What's New List:
    • Save filters: Now you can save a filter to apply it next time when you open a table. Saved filters can be accessed from the database view or throught the Filters - Saved filters menu.
    • Show/hide fields filter: Using the new 'Show/hide fields' filter you can choose fields of a table to show. You can also change the order of the fields.
    • Import Power Data files: Import data (tables) form other Power Data files.
    • Context help: Press the Help key in any place in Power Data and you will see a help topic relevant to this place.
    • Databases list: Now the startup view contains a list of the recent databases.
    • Copy to clipboard: You can copy selected records to the clipboard and paste them in any other application (e.g. Word).
    • Filters support dates: Now you can use date fields in Advanced filter.
    • Multicolumn sorting: You can set up to 3 columns (fields) to sort by.

    SmallBase version 2.3 now available for 9200

    SmallBase version 2.3 is now available. Smallbase is a database program for the Nokia 9200 Series. New in this version is support for very large databases, and several bug fixes to various fields types, the phone call feature and the CSV import.

    Active Desk 1.01b now available

    Active Desk is now available in its final release version and can now purchased via Handango. The progrm has been considerably updated since the last beta and is now even more useful and very very polished. A new website has also been launched the support the program with much useful information.
