SmartProfiles by SmartAppz enables all Nokia 9210(i) Communicator users to switch the settings of their profiles automatically by timer control. SmartProfiles enables you to automatically switch the profiles of your Nokia 9210(i) Communicator by selecting time (24 hours) and/or weekday (Monday � Sunday)the selected time.
Shape Services have released what looks like an excellent Instant Messaging Clinet for the Nokia 92x0. With IM+ the most popular instant messaging systems: MSN Messenger, ICQ, AOL Messenger, Jabber are available on your Nokia Communicator 9210, 9210i and 9290.
Digital Red have made several exciting announcements about software for the Nokia 92x0. Bowling 2002 is soon to be released and their big project nightmare is also to see the light of day shortly. Other games including horse racing are also promised for release soon.
Smartappz have released a demo of their new game Pitrunner. It is described as a exciting and thrilling Arcade-game. Also Smartappz are soon to release SmartProfiles, SmartProfiles by SmartAppz enables all Nokia 9210(i) Communicator users to switch the settings of their profiles automatically by timer control.
PDASecure (a products available on other platforms) is now available for the Nokia 9210, 9210i and 9290. PDASecure(TM) protects, controls and secures access to a handheld device and the data on it.
DermTools for the Nokia 92x0 is now available via Handangi. Its a freeware mobile VB program in a very niche subject. The tool is designed for use by dermatologists. It is the dermatological tool for calculating PASI scores, Cockcroft-Gault indexes, showing diagrams of Blaschko and Langer Lines, Dermatomes and some important anatomy pictures for phlebology.
Thomas Eerola has released version 2.12 of SMS Assistant. Updates include US English support for 9290 users, the reply message editor now supports enter and bug in handling business cards and OBEX file reception fixed. SMS Assistant is an application for Nokia 9200 Series Communicator and other Symbian Crystal devices that implements an "out of office assistant" in mobile information device environment.
The system has been around for awhile but the Magic 101 system looks more and more interesting. The developers describe it as a 'open platform for handle set based high-performance multimedia gaming software'. Some of the samples look very impressive and a multimedia music player has been developed along with some impressive 3D games...
After the release of freeware IDisk for the the Nokia 92x0 Symbianware have followed this with a pro version. The program have the same basic functions (allowing folders to be substituted into drive), but the pro version allows you define startup profiles and select the drives you want created at startup.
Corisoft have released version 2.1 of their heierarchical data organiser, X-Link. New features include large optimizations, more speed, reminder managements (create reminder for one day, daily or periodically) and a few bugs fixes. The program is excellent value and comes from the well known and quick bug fixing Corisoft.
