and restaurants in Europe. It is particularly well known for its
prestigious star award system for evaluating the quality of the
cooking of listed establishments. The Europe 2001 version provides
detailed information on almost 11,000 hotels and restaurants in
110 major European cities over 20 different countries.

is now available for your Communicator. Using The Michelin Red Guide
Europe 2001, business travellers and holiday makers will be able
to search in 20 European countries for the best selection of places
to eat and stay in all main towns and cities.
Customised searches can be made on criteria such as name, price,
class category and dozens of facilities such as air conditioning,
garden or car park. And of course you can ask for restaurants and
hotels worthy of the renowned Michelin accolades, such as The famous
Michelin stars. The "gourmet Michelin man", for establishments where
customers are served "good food for moderate prices". The "small
coins", that indicate local cafes featuring inexpensive local specialities.
