and richly colored pinball game presented in 2D. The entire game

Space Taxi - Mobile Java-Game for Nokia 9210 Communicator
Genre: Pinball machines have thrived for years, from arcades
all the way to Java-enabled mobile phones. Therefore, pinball is without
doubt a universally known concept in the game world. What make the
Space Taxi pinball special are the Nokia 9210 Communicator�s graphic
features and especially its screen and controls. The screen is of
the handset is of the right shape and size, its control keys are positioned
perfectly, and its graphics provide a a convincing illusion of a real
pinball machine. The game board also stands out from many other pinball
games by having a theme with interesting objectives.
About Space Taxi: Space Taxi is a realistic and richly colored
pinball game presented in 2D. The entire game board is visible on
the handset screen. The Nokia 9210 Communicator is held vertically.
Above the game board, there is a LED scoreboard, which provides information
during the game. The game follows a distinct theme: the player is
the driver of a space taxi. The main objective is to activate the
taxi stand light, pick up customers from the ramp and take them to
various specified planets. Other objectives include activating letter
and ramp lights, shooting active ramps to increase the ramp score,
activating and rotating entry lights to increase the score multiplier,
shooting bumpers and the nightshift mode sign for a temporary double
score multiplier. The game board contains two pairs of flippers, three
ramps, four bumpers, five rows of letter lights, three shooters, one
teleportation device, five mission lights, two rows of ramp lights,
and one row of score multiplier lights.
